Our deck project at the Villages at Penn Ridge turned out great! Hawkins Carpentry repaired and replaced over 1,400 sq. ft. of our clubhouse deck. It is absolutely beautiful. We have received many compliments from our community residents. We had the old wood decking replaced with vinyl product and also created a dry space under the upper deck. This doubled our outside usable space. We are very pleased with the quality, workmanship and aesthetics of the project. Daniel was easy to work with from start to finish, including meeting with the inspector. During the project, Hawkins Carpentry was careful to limit any disruption of nearby residents and the clubhouse use itself. All debris was removed promptly daily during the construction.

We absolutely LOVE our new deck. We are thrilled with how it turned out. Your team was always professional, on time, and did great work. I would not hesitate to call you if we have more work to do in the future. While I didn't think we were expanding the deck that much, It is amazing the difference it makes! It feels much more spacious than our previous deck. Even with our table/chairs, a small pool for our dog, and a lounge chair, there is still lots of open space. We just got a new grill and can't wait to put that out there. We use it all the time and are very happy with it! Thank you also for adding on the additional job of fixing around the garage. We struggled with our old deck, as it was very small and had two step down areas. The wood that it was constructed of was rotting in multiple places, as it was very old. It looked bad and we worried about safety. After having the old deck replaced by Hawkins Carpentry, we are using it all the time. New deck is much larger, made with material that does not rot or require much maintenance. We no longer have two levels and are much happier. We also added a screened in porch with this project. The porch has become the favorite place for all of us. It feels like a get away when we are out there. We could not be happier with Hawkins from initial contact to end of project. Daniel & his team have great work ethic, quality was outstanding, communication was great, organized, and always on time.

Our project was built like he was building it for himself and we really appreciated that. He offered final touch ideas that we would have regretted not making. It was always just a conversation, never a sales pitch. Everything was delivered and built to perfection. We were very extensive in our research for contractors. We ended up having 9 different quotes/estimates from other contractors. We do not think we could have chosen anyone better when we look at the final product, taking it all into consideration. Absolutely love it!!
